Clifford C. Rohde focuses his practice on land use and zoning, renewable energy facilities siting, real estate and leasing, and regulatory compliance. He maintains the Wind Power Law Blog, which focuses on wind energy legal and zoning developments. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rohde was general counsel and chief compliance officer to a multi-state mortgage lender. He has helped telecommunications carriers to resolve corporate disputes and to advance policy agendas before the Federal Communications Commission and Congress. Mr. Rohde is a Spanish speaker and spent over eight years investigating, promoting and defending international human rights, including with the United Nations. An advocate of alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Rohde is a FINRA arbitrator and community mediator. In addition to his legal experience, Rohde has ample professional experience in project management, marketing and communications. He is Vice President of the Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District.
